Beauty & Hate

Every night I stand beneath the sky,
The moon as my comfort as I cry,
Though the stars never shed a tear,
I share with them my every fear,

The razor shakes in my hand,
It's more pain then I can stand,
Life drifts farther out of reach,
Heaven's Gate I'm soon to breach,

The moon, my guardian, my shield,
To your protection I do yield,
I drop the razor to the floor,
As the pain attacks my core,

Pain so strong I want to scream,
"What does your beauty mean?"
I curl up into a ball,
All alone I watch you fall,

Another night is gone and past,
My life continues yet to last,
Your beauty causes my pain,
But it's not you who is to blame,

I think of you and want to bleed,
But it's your love that I need,
So tonight I'll sit and wait,
For your beauty and your hate.
